Do
you find that sustained stress, worry and anxiety are diminishing your
ability to fully enjoy life? Studies have shown that you can alleviate
symptoms with the practice of yoga and, over time, you can
build
up stress resilience. Yoga Nidra – also called “the meditative heart of
yoga” – is a therapeutic practice supporting your healing in
many
ways, including:
- Creating a profoundly relaxed state that helps
the whole body re-learn how to rest and recharge, counteracting
habitual tension
- Deep mental relaxation that provides an
antidote to excessive worrying and anxiety
- An increased receptiveness to your positive
affirmations – challenging and counteracting negative beliefs and
thoughts
- Experiencing your true nature that is peaceful,
joyful and fearless, and becoming confident and trusting.
Andrew Kun is leading this five week workshop starting on Friday, August 6,
2010, at 7:30pm. The sessions are held once a week and they are one
hour and fifteen minutes long and cost $90. Come and see how deep
relaxation is easily attained and how after each class you will feel
more open, balanced and at peace.

It’s time to make peace, reconnect with what is already great about you and feel good about yourself. In
this workshop, you will have the opportunity to experience yoga poses
in a way that respects your body and enables you to find ease in each
pose. Each class also includes a deeply relaxing Yoga Nidra guided
meditation exploring the sensations, emotions and beliefs you are
holding about yourself and your body image, releasing those that are
not supporting you and “trying on” new ones that do. Come and see how
deep relaxation is easily attained and how after each class you will
feel more open, balanced and at peace.
